We booked two nights but left after the first. The rooms were dirty, old, smelled like cigarettes, and the TV didn’t work. There was no Wi-Fi, and although they said breakfast was included, there wasn’t any. If you lose your keycard, lock yourself out, or the card stops working, they charge $20. The woman at check-in was probably the rudest, least hospitable person I’ve ever met. We asked for help or some kind of compensation, but she wouldn’t help and didn’t care why we wanted to leave. When we checked out the next morning, she wouldn’t help us get our money back for the second night either. We contacted booking.com about the awful stay and hope to get at least that unused night refunded.

The shower water was cold, and the TV didn’t work. The front desk said the internet service had been down. Three days later, I got the same story. The room key kept malfunctioning, and I had to struggle with the door to get in. Service was terrible, and housekeeping never asked whether I wanted service. The towels and washcloths looked dingy and dirty. Thank goodness there was a Dollar General down the street.

The room was small but clean, and the bed was comfortable. The TV didn’t work, and there was a little bug on the wall when we arrived. For the price, you get what you get. The location is excellent, close to the highway and about 15 minutes from downtown Savannah.

For our two-year anniversary, my husband and I booked one night hoping to relax after dinner and watch TV. Instead, the internet was nonexistent. I tried tethering my phone to the TV, but Pluto App was the only channel that downloaded, and it wouldn’t work. The TV wouldn’t let me download another app either. It was crooked, and its wall mount wouldn’t let me turn it toward the bed. The floors felt sticky, and the bedding smelled musty. Towels and washcloths were stained and dingy, with no hand towels in the room. There was no breakfast, or even anywhere available to get breakfast. This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. We were very unsatisfied.
