I don't review places often, but I needed somewhere quiet to rest and keep working after my nearby home had been without power for seven days. My sanity was slipping, and even though money was tight, this felt worth it. I didn't have that usual feeling of, “I can't believe I paid __ for that.” I'm from a Savannah family and have lived in bigger cities, and good lodging here has been hard to find. This isn't a Hilton, but the owners clearly care about keeping things clean, comfortable, and maintained. My room was incredibly clean, with clean bedding, a modern TV, good hot water, reliable heating and air, and no gross carpet. The basics were all right. A brief conversation with the owner also meant a lot. He showed me some grace when he didn't have to, and that took trust on his part. You don't come across that often. The location was great, and although it costs more than a competitor down the street where I'd stayed before because of frustrating, unreasonable pet policies elsewhere, I felt I was paying for a quality stay. I'd absolutely come back.

Breakfast was simple: coffee, yogurt, blueberry muffins, and refrigerated sandwiches, either bacon, egg, and cheese or sausage, egg, and cheese. There was a full bathtub and a nice patio, too. The room was clean, and the bed and pillows were super comfortable. I'd definitely stay again.

After an event at the Savannah Theater, my partner and I stayed here. We could walk to downtown from this convenient spot. The room was clean and had everything we needed, and the owner was very nice. The price was affordable, so I'll keep it in mind for another visit. I'd recommend it for a business trip or a cute little getaway.

The police station across the street gave us peace of mind, and there's plenty of parking, even for boats. They also have pet-friendly rooms for the fur babies. Staff were outgoing and friendly, and made us feel welcome. The rooms were up to date, extremely clean, and smelled fresh. Great motel in a perfect location.

It felt like stepping back in time. I love the vintage style and those old bathroom tiles you hardly ever see anymore. They reminded me of my childhood. The motel was clean and quiet, really clean.
