There was just one chair for two of us, and I needed room for a makeshift work setup. A small table and chairs would have fit, but instead I had to stand to eat. One night there was no hot water for a shower. They swept and mopped and changed the linens every day. I saw the big bucket of mop water, and it was black, so I wondered if they used the same water for every room.

My sister-in-law, her daughter, and granddaughter booked a room for a couple of nights after the recent storm in the area. They now all have scabies from sleeping at this hotel. This is completely unacceptable. I've reported them to health departments all the way to Nashville. I've seen that other people have reported bugs here before, along with a long list of other complaints. Clean the place up and give the community and visitors somewhere safe and healthy to sleep.

The room wasn't very clean, and cleaning staff tried to come in without knocking. We booked online for a short stay, but when we arrived they tried to make us pay for two rooms and wouldn't even look at our confirmation. A walk-in guest took the extra room, which saved us. This family-run place doesn't seem to care about guests' comfort or fixing its own mistakes. I hope it goes out of business.

I rented a room for Sunday and Monday, and this is how filthy it was when I arrived. Don't book online and request a particular accommodation, because you'll get the opposite. This place is horrible. The only way I could stay was to clean the walls, floors, and whole room myself. Booking online cost $150. I wanted to swim, and getting a room was the only way.
