We have a new home being built, so this is a convenient place for us to stay. It’s a no-frills budget hotel on Abercorn, across from good food options and right beside a sports bar. The owners live on site, which helps avoid the nonsense I usually run into at places like this. Of the budget hotels I’ve tried in Savannah, this one is the best. No rodents, roaches, drugs, or hooking.

For the price, I’d definitely stay again. The room and linens were clean and in good shape, and the bed was comfortable. There was a fridge, TV, and Wi-Fi, though the TV sound was poor. No coffee anywhere.

The owners were helpful and nice, and this is a quiet little hotel. It was clean when we arrived, but they don’t do daily room cleaning. They did bring fresh towels and take away the used ones. The carpet smelled of old cigarettes and spilled liqueur, so I had to Lysol the place before I could get comfortable.

The shower pressure was excellent, and the place felt clean and safe. The AC was noisy, and there was no kettle or coffee.

I enjoyed the stay even though my room wasn’t the best. It was clean, with no mold or mildew that I could see, and there wasn’t much noise from the neighbors. I didn’t get to experience what other people have been talking about. The cable could’ve been better, but for the price it was worth it.
