Breakfast was the best part, with a really nice spread, though the fruit didn’t taste fresh. The room itself was disappointing after the reviews had set my expectations high. There was a lingering bad smell, kind of like sweaty feet, possibly from the old carpet, and it could use a deep steam clean. The bathroom fan didn’t work either, so the room felt stuffy. A mixed stay because of the room’s cleanliness and maintenance.

The food was delicious and came out right on time, and Deb and the other servers made the evening run smoothly. Tracy was wonderful to work with, and the room looked just as we’d discussed, with a few lovely extra touches. The Grand Victorian Best Western in Sayre Pa. was a perfect setting for the GVAG ladies Christmas party on 12.13.25. I’d highly recommend it for future events and hope we return.

We hold events at this Best Western twice a year, and the Group Sales Manager is terrific with details and follow-through. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and affordable. Desk and service staff have always been welcoming, courteous, helpful, and fun. We have so many good things to say about this hotel.

There are several nice restaurants in the downtown area, just a five- or six-minute drive away. The hotel is close to the interstate but far enough from the highway that we didn’t hear traffic at night. Front desk staff were nice both evening and morning, and the breakfast area was well stocked and looked after. I’d definitely stay here again when passing through.

The bartender kept the mood fun, the cook served amazing food, and the front desk team were friendly and polite the whole time. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the place felt welcoming. We’ll definitely be back.
