Western Motel

It's a quaint little motel in the middle of nowhere, but it was clean and comfortable both times we stayed. We stopped once heading to New Mexico and again on the way back. When an ice and snowstorm was approaching and we had to end the vacation early, the owner was very accommodating and let us stay two days earlier than we had originally booked.

We ended up sleeping in the car because we were traveling with family who were staying in another room. The man at the front desk refused a full refund and told us to find somewhere else to sleep. When we called at 2:45 a.m. after waking up because of bed bugs, he was rude and unhelpful, insisted there were no bed bugs, and said no other rooms were available, even though the parking lot was almost empty. The room had the pictured bed bugs, fecal spots all over the pillows, and a few blood stains on the sheets under the mattress. Avoid this place.

It's an older motel, but the room was very nice and clean. I saw no bed bugs or roaches, despite the review calling it a roach motel. I'd stay here again.

Please beware, I beg you. The water barely dripped, and the washcloths and chairs were dirty. I could feel the metal at the ends of the bed against my legs, and the room smelled like mold. It looks as if nothing has been updated since around 1950. This place is a dump, and people are lying in the reviews. Do not stay at this motel.
