La Quinta Inn and Suites by Wyndham Schertz-San Antonio-Selma

The pool was a real letdown. The water was cloudy, the filtration system wasn’t working, and a robotic vacuum had been dropped in and left there. For guests coming to Texas from colder places hoping to swim, that’s disappointing. The website photos look either very old or like AI-made plans for some future version of the pool. We had a clean, cool room and slept well in the comfortable bed. Staff were friendly and accommodating when we arrived, but on the second day of our 6 day stay we found out you have to request room service. I hadn’t encountered that before, so it’s something to keep in mind. Breakfast had lots of delicious options, and the coffee was so good I didn’t need to go to McDonald’s for it. The hotel is nice, with sidewalks leading to good restaurants and Walmart. Just remember to ask for room service if you need it.

Teresa is what made my visit especially memorable. She was warm, attentive, and clearly cared about making guests feel at home. She went out of her way to make sure things were right, and her hospitality left a lasting impression. The Wyndham Hotel was clean and comfortable, with the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. Everything felt welcoming and well organized from the time I arrived. Thanks to Teresa’s service, I’d gladly return and recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay and great customer care.

You can tell she cares about her work and about giving guests good service. La Quinta by Wyndham in Schertz, TX was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and I felt welcomed as soon as I arrived. Nick and Theresa at the front desk were two of the friendliest, most helpful hotel staff I’ve met. I travel every 3 months and stay at different Wyndham hotels, and this one has been the best. Service was great at the desk, at breakfast, and throughout my stay. It’s also in a great spot, with everything I needed within walking distance.
