New Budget Motel

I have COPD, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease affecting my lungs, and I can’t understand why there was so much dust in the bathroom vents. Why have vents in the first place if air circulation in motel rooms is prohibited under FDA, HIPAA, and such? I don’t understand. They’re charging $120 a day, while across the street at Comfort Suites we’re staying on the 6th floor for an average of $68 a night. I recommend staying only at Choice Comfort Suites or Choice Hotels.

One room was full of mold, with a vile, overwhelming smell. There was also garbage, old chairs, and junk outside the rooms. This place and its owners felt toxic and terrible to me. It’s supposedly a ‘New Budget Motel,’ but they nickel and dime you at every turn. The owner, who lives on the property, charges $15 if you don’t pay cash, even when you use a debit card. Need a toothbrush or toothpaste because you forgot yours? That’s another $5. Nothing is complimentary, not even breakfast. They’re charging $200, and there are plenty of other options at that price. There’s a Comfort Inn right across the street for less. Bad business, cringe worthy. DO NOT GO!

I opened the room door and saw filthy sheets, stained towels, and bed bugs, just a full infestation. The owner literally demanded cash, insisted on $100 upfront before he’d let me see the room, and then refused to return my money when I came straight back out in under 5 minutes and asked for a refund. He kicked me out and kept the cash. HOW IS THIS PLACE EVEN OPERATING? It’s disgusting. I’m calling the BBB and inspectors. This needs to be shut down!!

Unbelievable, this world is really messed up. I just called and they want $170 a night. The Hyatt Regency is a four-star hotel and only wants $160.
