We thought we were signing a two-bedroom lease, but the lease we were given was for a studio. We didn't read it closely enough before signing, so some of that was on us. Still, arriving to find a studio was a rough start. We tried to stay positive, but since then we've dealt with far too many cockroaches and several maintenance problems. The place looked like it had been renovated cheaply and quickly, which really lowered the apartment's quality. We pay $1500. For. A. Studio. We've also had trouble paying rent through the complex's resident portal. After more than three card payment attempts, it won't let you pay and says to “try again in 24 hours,” while you get charged more for each day you can't pay. This is the worst apartment complex and management we've dealt with. If you're trying to build wealth and support yourself responsibly, steer very clear.
Claudia and Megan made my tour feel welcoming. They were both approachable, really nice, and helpful without putting any pressure on me. The floor plans seemed spacious and functional, and the amenities were thoughtfully designed and well kept. I'm still considering my options and expect to decide next month, but this community is at the top of my list so far.
The units Claudia showed me were too small for what I'm looking for, though I appreciate her time. The first impression was pretty bad. As we toured, Claudia was talking about how peaceful the complex was when a domestic incident involving a phone charger broke out. We could clearly hear shouting and disturbing screams around the property. She asked me to head back to the office while she dealt with it. She called the police, who were pulling in as I left.
I'm just moving in, and it's been a good start. After the nightmare of looking for a place, I'm feeling confident and comfortable with my choice. The online process was easy, and I appreciate the convenience of being able to do it that way. The office representatives went above and beyond, and the staff made everything simple. Jetty pay is awesome, and I learned a lot. Thanks for giving me a place to call home. I'll be referring lots of friends, family, and customers.
Claudia & Meagan were wonderful through the leasing process, respectful and understanding, but I’d think twice before renting here. I was there for only about four months and ran into pest concerns I’d never experienced in my five years in Scottsdale. I saw what I believed were rat or mouse droppings and termites, and would check carefully for signs of biting pests around the home. The open holes around the AC UNIT and the setup there also concerned me, with dust that seemed potentially harmful to breathe. It took nearly a month for problems to be addressed, and they weren’t fully resolved. Pest control missed an appointment, then only set traps, as we had already done. I eventually contacted City of Scottsdale, which can help push an issue toward resolution. If I could, I’d give this complex zero stars, despite the good leasing staff. The low price can end up costing more. Please reconsider renting here, hope this helps. :) P.s This was unit 2003 #4
