Seaside RV resort

Bree and Linda helped me put together an amazing surprise birthday setup, and their care and hospitality made it feel like a home away from home. They went above and beyond and made it really special. Seaside RV Resort is a wonderful place whether you’re on vacation, working nearby, or just passing through. Highly recommend!

I came to the campground to catch up with friends nearby at a marina. The cement pads and hookups all worked well, and the Wi-Fi was great. It’s a nice area and I had a nice time, but the sites were small and the cost was high. There were a couple of small charges that felt like they were added just because they could be. Only five pull-through sites, and the amenities seemed exaggerated.

The park worked well as a base for visiting local attractions, and we thought the $84.35 per night including tax was fair value. Food, shopping, and convenience stores are only a short drive away, though there’s nothing easy to walk to. Despite the park’s name, it isn’t by the sea, but public beaches are nearby, and it’s convenient to Johnson Space Center. We had site 06, a back-in spot just long enough for our Coach and Towed. It was flat and even, with the 30/50 amp, water, sewer, and cable hookups on the left. The concrete roads and sites were easy to drive on, there’s pavement all the way in, and the signs were adequate. Spacing was fair for an urban park. There were no picnic tables or fire pits, and the place felt pretty sterile. Check-in was quick and friendly, and the rules were fairly basic. The park is gated, and the neighborhood seemed safe. Most of the other sites looked occupied by long-term residents, but they were all neat and tidy, with no trashy-looking sites. We didn’t use the included Wi-Fi or cable TV, and didn’t look for OTA channels. Satellite shouldn’t be difficult. We also didn’t use the washrooms, showers, pools, fitness center, or games room, but checked them out and found everything clean and modern. We’d stay again if we’re in the area.

The place was fenced and gated, and it stayed nice and quiet. I spent about five months there and really enjoyed my stay. It was very clean, with two pools, plus a clean laundry room and exercise room. The woman running the place was respectful and got back to me when I had questions. If I’m in that area again, I’ll stay there, and I’d definitely recommend it.
