The manager really went out of his way to make sure we had a good stay. We drove five hours from upstate NY, and the suite had plenty of room, a pullout couch, two TVs, and air conditioning that worked great. The pool was nice, and we were close to everything in Seaside Heights. There’s a 7/11 nearby if you’ve forgotten anything. The lot is small, but we fit our Tahoe without trouble. We’ll be back. Don’t let the bad reviews put you off. Thanks again!

We had a good time here and plan to return. The location was handy for getting around, the pool was clean, the grills worked perfectly, and the air conditioner did too. The bathroom is small, and it felt odd to find the sheets hanging down to the floor when we arrived, but the room was clean overall. Management was great, and my wife, kids, and I enjoyed the stay.

I wouldn’t give this place a single star. Our room hadn’t been serviced when we arrived, and we’d also been charged twice, supposedly by accident. The bedding was disgusting, the surfaces hadn’t been cleaned, and the bathroom was a mess, with what looked like blood on the walls. We brought our own bleach, so we cleaned the musty room while the housekeeper just made the beds. Management wouldn’t offer us a clean, usable room. I’d strongly suggest staying at Anchor Motel across the street instead of Belmont.

Seaside Heights has no three- or four-star hotels near the beach and boardwalk unless you’re paying $3,200 a night for a Jersey Shore house, so this motel was bearable compared with the nearby options. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and our room was clean, cold, comfortable, and close to the boardwalk. It wasn’t fancy, but it worked for a last-minute, desperate choice. The other room the website selected for us was absolutely horrible, and we grabbed our things and left right away. I’d bring your own towels and pillows, or buy them there.

We had a horrible stay and left a night early after my kids were bitten by bed bugs on the first night. The rooms smelled, the sheets never got changed, and people smoking weed outside made it feel unsuitable for kids. It was dirty and disgusting outdoors too, and the curtains were ripped. We paid for this and it wasn’t fair. I hope the health department does something. I’m not coming back and wouldn’t recommend it.
