The Sea Garden Motel and Apartments

The room was clean and comfortable, and check-in and check-out were quick and easy. Staff kept things orderly and quiet at night, which made the stay more relaxing. Everyone was very polite and helpful, especially Erick, who was always available and went out of his way to help. The property is beautiful, with a lovely view and well-kept surroundings. The location is great, just a short walk to the ocean and close to local attractions and entertainment. I'd recommend it to anyone wanting a peaceful, pleasant vacation by the sea.

Only the security guard Mike treated us kindly. The owners ignored our concerns or laughed in our faces, and were extremely rude. We brought our own towels, which had makeup on them, and were charged $20. When we tried to talk with the man checking us out, we had to wait for the female owner to finish her room checks. After an altercation led to a group from our school being evicted, the owners treated the whole high school as the "bad" group. People from school are now having their reviews removed, and the owners threatened to call our principal. If they aren't prepared to welcome younger guests, they shouldn't advertise to them. It was our school's prom weekend, and we booked after seeing their Prom Weekend Special. It seemed like their first time hosting one and they weren't ready for teenagers. The rooms looked fairly clean, but after our stay several people got sick from what we believed was mold poisoning related to the air conditioning and bathroom conditions. I wouldn't recommend Sea Garden Motel.

There's a nice pool with picnic tables and grills, and it's very close to the beach. Rates are good and the rooms are a decent size, though the service could have been a lot better. I use this place as my backup when my usual one is unavailable.

The rooms were great, but the staff were bad, except for the security guard Mike, who made me feel protected from their own staff. A friend called the police after staff took our property and tried to get physical with one of my friends. Then they tried to make my friend feel guilty for calling, as if that were a crime. This is America, and I urge people to call the police if they feel unsafe. That hotel made me feel unsafe.
