I misplaced my keys on New Year’s and ended up staying here for two nights. The room was clean, organized, and well appointed, with a comfortable bed. The curtains switched between automatic blackout and transparent, and controlling everything from the provided tablet was intuitive. Staff were very friendly, and breakfast was worth the extra cost. I had a pleasant stay all things considered, and would come back without hesitation.

Citizen 633, or whatever your room number is, has a fun futuristic feel, and the staff are helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The rooms are small but cleverly laid out. My king bed was large and right by the wall-to-wall window, with spectacular city views that include The Smith tower. There’s a handy little desk, and the drawers under the bed pull out far enough that you can store an open suitcase, depending on its size. The shower is small, but the lighting system is fun. You can choose different colors or a “Mood” setting that turns on the TV, plays sound, shows shapes, and changes the lights. The one thing that felt off was the check-in iPad. I get the futuristic idea, but the layout felt a bit like Spirit Airlines, with add-ons that make it seem like every little thing costs extra, even though that isn’t actually the case.

I had a great time here and can’t wait to come back. The hotel is artistically inspiring, and the staff were amazing, helpful, and super friendly. It’s only a few blocks from public transportation, with lots to explore right in the neighborhood.

The view was the standout, so good it looked like a high-end painting in place of a window. The room was small, as we expected, and had a delightfully unusual layout. We spent three nights and four days here because Lumen Field is dangerously convenient. The hotel was spotless and clearly looked after, and the staff were incredibly friendly and ready to help. There’s an upbeat, fun feel throughout, whether that comes from the location or the hotel’s culture. Rates seemed reasonable, provided you conveniently “forgot” about the CAD to USD exchange rate, which I highly recommend. If you want a fun, unusual hotel experience, set your GPS for this little gem.

The room was clean, and I loved the red decor and the view over the ferry. Honestly, that view was what sold me. The room is smaller than a typical hotel room, a bit like a Virgin Voyages cruise cabin, but I was traveling solo and didn’t mind. Everything is controlled through the iPad. On my first night I went to the bar and had a great time. Kathleen made me a chocolate martini and an espresso martini, both great. I’d already been drinking at another bar before I came down, so I was kind of a mess by the end of the night. Kathleen was awesome, and made my stay amazing. Every employee I met was friendly, and the location was great. I was traveling alone and felt safe walking everywhere. My first trip to Seattle was great, and staying here made it even better. I’d recommend it. The rooms are small, but you’re not in them most of the time while traveling, and the hotel, room, and bar were all clean and the bar was great. Before booking, I’d read mixed reviews about the room size. I arrived to a smile from the woman at the desk, who explained the self check-in. I was also able to check in early because a room was available. Score! I wish I remembered her name.
