The people here made the weekend feel special, almost like staying with friends. Every employee we met across departments was cheerful, genuine, and ready to help. You can tell the talent acquisition team knows the culture they're aiming for and has nailed it. Vivian at the front desk welcomed us after a long trip with such a warm, magnetic personality. Quinton stepped in efficiently and kindly to sort out our breakfast coupons, a great human all around. We were in town for the miniature show, which deserves its own glowing review because it was the BEST show ever. Danny and Katie in the restaurant were gems, moving around the room and making sure everyone had what they needed. Katie got my sense of humor. I asked for “all of the coffee,” and she came over with what looked like a 10-gallon jug. Please let it have been empty. I laughed so hard I nearly cried. For a cocktail, go see Tom at the bar. Ohhhh myyyy lorrddd, this man is THE MAN for a Ketel One dirty martini. Unforgettable. I'd have had seventeen if I could. Housekeeping deserves a standing ovation for their friendly smiles, warm energy, and genuine care. The CHA crew was fantastic too, and the coffee baristas know their stuff and put heart into it. DoubleTree absolutely crushed it with this team. I hope to stay again and catch up with everyone. And the warm cookies at check-in were divine, naturally. If I could give the hotel 10 stars, I would.

The location was so quiet that, as a light sleeper, I slept through all three nights without a disturbance. The room had lots of storage, so I didn't feel buried in my things, and the separate living room let my husband and me work early and late without bothering each other. Our bed was extremely comfortable, and the second-floor view of fall leaves felt cozy. Steven and Steve, the staff we met, were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and beautiful, with warm, cozy colors, and the front desk cookies were delicious. The gym had clean, quality equipment and a sauna. It's near Southcenter for entertainment, with easy access to express buses into Downtown Seattle. There are plenty of good breakfast and dinner options nearby, plus a Chevron close by for late-night snacks while working.

The beds were comfortable, the van driver was cool, and the conference room servers were great. The rest was awkward. The waitress gave me the feeling she'd murder me if I didn't tip, and the bartender seemed like he didn't know English. The hot tub has been broken for at least a month. A $28 buffet is wild, and $20 for a continental breakfast I still have to make myself is even wilder, especially when Denny's will make it and bring it to me for $15. And $44 for three shots, holy moly.

I have Hilton Honors, but neither time did I get my member perks or points. I asked both times why, and was told they'd fix my account, but they didn't. I got no rewards at all and feel taken advantage of. I didn't even get a senior discount.

My sister treated me to lunch for my birthday, but I probably won't go back. The menu didn't say the Chicken Katsu came with spicy sauce poured over the very crisp chicken, and the waitress didn't mention it either. It was much too hot for me, and I couldn't eat more than four bites. They brought a fresh dish instead. They also didn't have any rice, although the menu said it came with the dish, so I chose noodles. The Cucumber cabbage salad was a nice accompaniment.
