My daughter wrote this: The free breakfast was amazing, and the place was clean and lovely. Everyone was kind and thoughtful. The chef and the person who cleaned the tables were so nice to us. Our drain was clogged, and the people who fixed it were kind and had it taken care of by the time we got back. I really loved the service and the whole experience. I hope you like the review and that it means something. 💖😁✨ From Jillian ⭐️💐🎉

The housekeeping problem was the worst part of my five-night stay: nobody serviced my room once. I called the desk several times and was told rooms were cleaned every other day, but mine was never made up. They blamed a transition to a new system, which is an internal matter and shouldn't affect paying guests. I was also promised a refund for one night's stay. Connor and Lee said they'd spoken with management, and that the manager would email me. More than a week after checkout, nothing had arrived. When I followed up, Samir denied anyone had promised compensation and said hotels don't offer it. It was the second time a staff promise was later denied. Samir was dismissive and confrontational instead of listening to the complaint or trying to resolve it. Management never contacted me directly. Before arriving, I specifically called to ask whether my three rooms could be on the same floor and was assured they could. At check-in, staff said there was no record of the request and it couldn't be done. After more discussion, they said they'd arrange it while I was out for the day. When I returned, nothing had changed, and they said they hadn't promised. The next day, they did put all three rooms on the same floor. Then Samir said I'd be charged for another night because I hadn't returned by noon. Nobody had told me about a noon deadline or said I needed to return by then to keep the arrangement. It was unfair to blame me for information that hadn't been shared. My main disappointment is the lack of accountability: promises were made, then broken, and management didn't reach out. Hotels make mistakes, but how they're handled matters. Here, I got denials and excuses instead of customer service. I can't recommend this property.

Breakfast was excellent, and the front desk staff were really helpful, five stars for them. The location is good, just a short walk from the needle. But we had a pretty bad stay for what we paid. The place is dated, and I think the building's construction lets through footsteps and bathroom noise from upstairs loud and clear. We were put by the elevator and heard all sorts of noise every so often. The bathroom was very narrow, with one hook for clothes while showering. My towel took up the hook, so I had to put some clothes on the floor. The tub drained slowly, and the only sink was outside the bathroom near the microwave, which was inconvenient.

The room was decent for the price, and the laundry room and gym looked clean. The heating wasn't good and had a smell, though the AC worked fine. Staff at the desk were friendly, and I liked being able to get cold water right when I came in. It's near another hotel, so Uber or Lyft drivers can get confused. Still, the location is handy for the Space Needle and nearby museums, about a 7-10 minute walk.

Lulu made our early arrival easy. We came before check-in, and she said she'd try to get us a room as soon as she could. She worked a miracle, and we waited only a few minutes. As Marriott Bonvoy Gold Members, we also got an upgrade and a welcome package. Our room had a lovely view of the Space Needle, a Seattle landmark. It was comfortable and had a king bed, two night tables with drawers, wall and floor lamps, a desk and lamp, a small couch, a four-drawer low dresser with space above for two suitcases, hanging closets, shelves, and an iron and ironing board. There was also a microwave, coffee service, an ice bucket, and a mini fridge. The bathroom had a tub and shower, a big mirror, and one sink. The toilet paper dispenser was a terrible design: it was hard to reach behind you, and the roll kept catching on the spring clips. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable, too. Breakfast was included each morning. Lulu suggested coming down early, and she was right. Just after 7 a.m. the first morning, the breakfast room was packed, so we shared a table with another couple. There was a good range of hot and cold food. I had a bagel with cream cheese, a banana, and hot tea. My husband got scrambled eggs, pork sausage, an English muffin, milk, and coffee. That set us up for a day exploring Seattle. On Sunday it was less crowded and we found a seat easily. I had scrambled eggs and toast; my husband had eggs, Swiss and spinach quiche, pork sausage, an English muffin, coffee, and milk.
