Four Points by Sheraton Downtown Seattle Center

The people here are the reason I keep coming back. They’re warm, professional, and remember my Marriott status. Angel in the restaurant clearly takes pride in his work, and Ateel at the front desk went out of her way to help on my last visit. It feels like the hotel is well managed. I’ve stayed at the Four Points Downtown Seattle many times, and it’s become one of my dependable favorites in the city. The property is showing its age and the elevators can be slow, but the rooms are comfortable, clean, and reasonably up to date. Great beds, too, and the air conditioning works like a charm. The restaurant is relaxed and welcoming, and the food is surprisingly good for a hotel at this price. It won’t win design awards, but for a comfortable, well-run stay with genuinely kind staff, I recommend it without hesitation.

The room turned out great, with a comfortable bed, a blackout shade that let us sleep in, and a shower with good pressure. Everyone was friendly, too. We’d flown in to see the Seahawks play the Rams, yea, that game, and I’d called several hotels hoping for early check-in with no luck. Then I spoke with Ateal at this hotel. She said she could probably arrange it, and if not, they’d store our bags for free so we could go to the game. Thank you, Ateal!! Great stay!

Came down for a friend’s birthday and had an awesome time. The complementary breakfast does cost money, but a mixup meant we were able to get it free, so everything was amazing.

The room itself was comfortable, though the microwave and ice were a long way off. That was about the only good part of this stay. The restaurant food was awful. I ordered tacos and the shells were floppy and chewy, like they hadn’t been heated. The chicken was plain, and the picked cabbage and strange lettuce tasted gross. Mayonnaise for sauce was the final straw. I made myself eat one, but couldn’t get through another and felt like I might throw up. It was unfortunately my only food option, so I had to eat at least some of it. I also didn’t feel safe walking around the hotel to find food. The area felt sketchy and run-down, with lots of unhoused people loitering and camping nearby. I’d expected a nicer neighborhood because it was a Sheraton. At the front desk, I asked to buy a couple of gift shop items. The clerk charged me without saying the price, then went to the back as though she was getting a receipt and left me waiting. I had to ask another clerk, who said she wasn’t getting one and that providing a receipt was impossible. They couldn’t tell me how much I’d been charged, so now I have to check my bank statement to make sure I wasn’t scammed or overcharged. Between that service, the food, and the warehouse-like area, I’ll find another hotel next time.
