Budget Inn of Sebring

I found the stay really disappointing. The room didn't seem clean, and the showers were in poor shape, which made it seem like maintenance had been neglected. The water pressure was so harsh it felt like standing under a pressure washer, making the shower uncomfortable. Outside, people were yelling, smoking, and acting erratically, so the place didn't feel safe and I couldn't relax. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend staying here.

There was no staff on site, just a kiosk where you talk to someone on a video call. The room I was assigned had trash in it and a bed that looked slept in, so I asked for another one. Through the night, a large Penske box truck sat outside, repeatedly starting up and idling its diesel engine. I've stayed in better hotels for $60. Paying $120 for the worst hotel experience I've ever had was awful.

Mary, the front desk manager, was helpful and professional, and check-in and checkout through the kiosk went smoothly. The virtual assistants on screen were polite and accommodating, so the whole process was quick and easy. My room was clean, the A/C was ice cold, and every service staff member I met was friendly and courteous. Budget Inn is in a very convenient spot in Sebring, right across from Bealls Outlet, a barbershop, the Dollar Store, and Publix. Having all those things just steps away made the stay more comfortable. Great value and service for a budget stay or a stop while passing through. I'd recommend it and come back next time I'm in the area.

The location was great, but the rooms were seriously run down. On the plus side, ours didn't smell musty and we didn't see any bugs.
