Hyatt Place Secaucus/Meadowlands

The staff were professional and friendly, and made the stay feel seamless and easy. We booked six rooms for my family and me for a wedding at a nearby venue, with guest names and billing details to coordinate beforehand. The management team was kind and very helpful through all of it. The rooms were spotlessly clean and impressively spacious. They even left flowers and a thoughtful card in our room for the wedding, which was such a touching gesture. I’m grateful to the whole team for making the occasion more memorable. Highly recommend.

We drove three hours with my family for a short trip to American dream, but the room was disgusting and hadn’t been cleaned. The sofa bed still had old sheets inside, covered in lots of hair and black stuff. There was trash under the sink, and the rags had dirty stains. Don’t book here. I’d give it zero stars if I could.

The best part was the staff. Jeremy and Steven were wonderful, friendly, and happy to help us with the details and advice we needed for our trip. Some of the best people we’ve met while traveling. We stayed with family over a long weekend to visit NYC. Buses stop right outside, run often, and take you to Port Authority. The trip back and forth was quick, safe, and inexpensive. The free continental breakfast helped us get the morning started, and parking close to the hotel was free too. We’d definitely stay again.

The bathroom feels needlessly cramped because of its proportions, and the shower floor is quite slippery. I can see it being difficult for an older person to manage. The main parking building is also hard to find your way into, isn’t well marked, and could use more lighting, though there’s plenty of free parking. Staff are the highlight here: super nice, helpful, and efficient, with flawless service. Breakfast was better than average for this price range, and the rooms were mostly clean and comfortable. The bed supported a restful night, and the heating and AC were quiet and effective. The location is easy to reach from the highway, and public transportation makes NYC attractions accessible.
