We split a two-bedroom condo with another couple for three nights and had a great stay. One small thing: the two-bedroom units have one full bath and a half bath, not two full bathrooms as we’d been told. It wasn’t a big deal, and we’d stay again.
The location was great, close to just about everything. We were there for a Capital Vacations presentation and had a pleasant stay in a studio, though it felt a bit small. Staff were very nice, and the resort was quiet in January. Our room was across the parking lot, so we had to carry our suitcases through the middle, but that also made the place feel more private. The shower pressure was weak, and the hot tub we tried had bits of rock along the bottom.
We enjoyed our stay. Our large one-bedroom could probably sleep five or six, and it had a kitchen for cooking, a regular coffee pot, and a kettle for tea. There’s a pool and three hot tubs around the property. No breakfast, though.
The bathroom was my favorite part of the suite, honestly a dream, and the shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion all smelled so good, like blood oranges. We came as a family and booked a bedroom suite for one night. Once we saw the room, we wanted to stay longer, but I’d accidentally reserved a studio suite instead. I was stressed we’d have to leave our room. The woman at the front desk kept calling to see what she could do, and the next morning Ken and Martin sorted out the mistake and let us stay. Such great service. There’s so much to enjoy here, including pools, hot tubs, a gym, and a game room. The staff were wonderful. The location is handy too, about five minutes from stores and restaurants. We went to Bashas', cooked tacos, and also had McDonald’s nearby. The suite had enough space for our group, and I’d book it again whenever we come to Sedona. Sorry this is such a long review, I’m just really happy with the place!
My wallet, which held more than $500 in cash and was about the size of a small handbag, was stolen by housekeeping during my stay. It could not have been picked up by mistake. The location is great, but that doesn’t make up for feeling that guests’ belongings aren’t safe. Management did not do anything meaningful to resolve it. They waited more than 24 hours to investigate, even though I reported it within five hours. Since then, they’ve tried to gaslight me, but I know exactly where it was. I won’t return, and based on what happened, I would not recommend staying here. Don’t leave anything valuable in your room.
