I’ve stayed here twice now, and it’s my favorite place in Sedona. The hospitality and attention to detail are amazing. I’ll be back and would recommend it to anyone.

The room was clean, the bed was really comfortable, and the staff made us feel welcome. Each morning started with a fresh, healthy, delicious breakfast. We had three wonderful nights here in a great location, and we’re already planning another trip back.

The breakfast really stood out. The chef was fantastic, and on my first morning I saw him clipping fresh herbs outside. There was bread baking in the room each day, and it smelled incredible. The rooms are very clean, nicely finished, and thoughtfully done. My wife and I have stayed in some great places, and this might be at the top of our list. So yes, here’s another great review, just like the ones I read before booking. It was exactly as people described.

We stayed in ghost rider, which had lots of room for the two of us, a comfortable bed, several places to sit for breakfast, a balcony for fresh air or a soak in the tub, and a fairly roomy shower for two. The room greeted us with the smell of fresh bread from the bread maker, and the decorations and little touches made it feel homey. The chef was accommodating, and the front desk staff shared helpful tips for nearby attractions. When I asked, they also gave me lots of stargazing pointers. It’s in a quiet residential area, which has its pros and cons, and you definitely need a car to get around. Some of the appliances are older, and the hot tub took a little effort to set, though the front desk crew had it ready for us when we arrived. The Wi-Fi wasn’t especially fast either, so don’t expect much in the way of technology. Unplug and enjoy. =)

Robert deserves a shout-out for the delicious, hearty breakfasts in the cozy dining area. One morning we left to hike before the kitchen opened, and he packed us a great breakfast to go with fresh fruit and yogurt parfaits, bananas, snack bars, and muffins. We started calling him the "Oracle of Arizona" for all his advice about trails, topography, travel, smoke and fire conditions, and more. Zak, the Innkeeper, made us feel welcome and special from the start. He gave us a warm greeting, walked us through the property and suite, and carefully explained how everything worked. We also got cookies and bottled water. Our four-night stay in the Sacred Feather room was lovely. The small property is pretty, with patio seating, a bubbling fountain, and lots of flowers. It’s no big luxury resort, but it’s cozy and exceptionally clean. Our room was spotless, attractive, and well designed, and we loved the private jacuzzi spa and shaded patio for sunrise and sunset. The one thing I’d suggest is adding a screen door to the patio windows. The weather was perfect and we hate hotel AC, but with the window open, flying insects came in. The Inn is ideally situated, private, quiet, and remarkably well maintained, with fantastic staff. We’ll undoubtedly book again when we return to Sedona.
