We were an hour late checking out because we got stuck at work, and they charged us full price for another night. They made us pay cash instead of letting us use a credit card, held our luggage until we paid, and then wouldn't give us a receipt. I don't think these people are honest. We'd reserved and paid for the room by credit card, which had been fine. But when we arrived, ours was the only vehicle in the lot, which made me uneasy about the area. The lobby looked like the inside of a portable classroom, and the rooms weren't any better. There's nothing luxury about this motel. Don't be fooled by its description.

A motorcycle tour brought us to Selma, but the Holiday Inn Express cancelled our reservations two days beforehand because they'd overbooked. We had eight people who needed rooms, and Luxury Inn managed to fit us in. The family was really nice, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and great. The only drawback was truck noise from the hotel being right on Highland Ave. I'd definitely stay again.

My room had the essentials, a clean and comfortable bed, and everything worked. The desk staff were friendly and efficient, and it was surprisingly quiet for a hotel on a major road. It's a clean, basic, safe place to stay in Selma. I just wish there were more to work with. Sorry, but Selma seems to be on life-support.

The owners, a gentleman and his wife, were really welcoming and accommodating. I was in Selma, Alabama for work and found my room very clean. I enjoyed my stay and would gladly recommend this place if you need somewhere to stay in Selma.

There are plenty of places to eat right nearby if you get hungry. I travel all over the country for work, and I'm really glad I chose this place while I was in Selma. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable, easily the best place to stay in town. If you're unhappy here, I don't know where you'd be happy.
