Hampton Inn Seymour

I won’t use Hampton again. My card was charged twice, and I now have to dispute it with my bank to get my money back. They later said the charge was $150 for cleaning because of smoking. I’ve never smoked in my life. I might have smelled like smoke when I came in from a bar, but I don’t smoke. I’ve stayed at the Holiday Inn right beside it in the same circumstances, and I’d highly recommend that instead.

The room had such a strong bleach smell that I found it awful, and I have no idea what happened. The front desk woman was nice, but I guess there was nothing they could do for Diamond members. The elevators were out for my whole stay, so I had to haul all my gear up and down the stairs. I wouldn’t recommend staying here and will skip it next time I’m in town.

When our bus broke down nearby in the cold, Kelsey let my group of students and me wait in the conference room while it was being fixed. She also gave us a case of bottled water. Kelsey, the manager, and her staff were so hospitable. Our Georgia FFA members are very grateful!

It was just okay, and the price felt high. We paid $75 for our little Chihuahua, plus a damaged deposit. We were too tired to look elsewhere that night, but next time I’d find another place.
