Days Inn by Wyndham Sharonville

Roaches, rude staff, dirty sheets, and the Wi-Fi and TV weren't working. The smoke alarm went off at 3 a.m. for an hour. There was brown stuff stuck in the freezer frost and yellow stains on a towel. I took pictures and video and showed Mr Patel. He took my number when he returned my deposit and said he'd call, but never did. No apology, and management offered no solution. There was no breakfast as advertised, and the fitness room was closed. Ms Patel wouldn't give me clean sheets or move me to another room. She said there weren't any clean sheets and housekeeping had left. This was a little after 5 p.m. I want my money back. It was terrible.

I was kicked out after my dog vomited on the bedding, and they won't refund the six days I'd already paid for, on top of the pet fee and deposit. I take responsibility for my pet. We were told to clean the bedding ourselves, which we agreed to do, but the laundry room was flooded and they told us to come back. Then we were woken in the middle of the night to clean it. The next morning, they kicked us out over the incident. Worst experience possible. I don't recommend this hotel.

The only good parts were the great water pressure and the large TV. I won't return, and Wyndam will hear from me. Find somewhere else. Breakfast isn't served every day, only a continental breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. The room had stained sheets and a stained comforter, and the shampoo was empty. I waited 15 minutes after calling for more, then gave up and went to the desk. Shower fixtures were coming off the wall, the bathroom door wouldn't shut, and there was nowhere to hang clothes, no closet or bar. Police were in the driveway when we arrived, and had to be called for a domestic disturbance when we left. Judging by the clientele, I'm assuming this isn't the best part of town. One of the worst lodging experiences I've had.

The beds were the most comfortable I've slept on in any hotel, and the room was nicely renovated. The only cleanliness issue was clumps of hair around the toilet on the bathroom floor. We booked through hotels.com, then got charged a $40 "deposit" on arrival in addition to what we'd already paid. That should be made clear ahead of time. The worst part was that we're an LGBT couple and the woman didn't want to give us a king bed. She tried to put us in a room with two queens, and when we said we wouldn't stay there, somehow a king room became available. It left a really bad impression. Maybe that's not a big deal to everyone, but it was to us.
