It may not look like much, and some people can be rude about it, but I appreciate the little things. My family has a warm, safe, comfortable place to stay, with a bed and a microwave so we can heat up food. It's a great place when you don't have a home and are lucky to have those basics.

Since Sam, the son, took over the business, things have been terrible. I think he's lying and making up prices as he goes. I called on Dec 6th to ask the rate for a double bed room for 1 eeek for 3 adults and one child. They quoted $450b. Now that we've been here a little while, he's suddenly saying it's $475. That's different from what my dad was told when we arrived and what I was told on the phone.

The beds are comfortable, the TV is great, and it's a warm place to rest your head. It's easygoing here, and when I come to town this is my first choice for a room.

Good value for the money, and the service is good. The guy on the night shift is especially helpful.

The location worked well for getting to local events and tourist attractions, but don't trust the photos. There's no pool or continental breakfast like the listing says. The online listing and office said check-in was at 2, but the owner wouldn't let me check in then without paying more. Every door looked like it had been kicked in by police, and I'm sure it had.
