Atterdag Inn

The courtyard has chairs where you can sit and lounge, and when we needed nothing, it was easy to reach someone by text despite there being no office. Atterdag Inn is a great value, and we'd gladly return. We stayed in the large, clean, quiet Room #8. The inn has 8 rooms, each with a different layout and bed options. It's centrally located, with Solvang's sights just steps away. Parking is on site, west of the rooms, and we had no trouble finding a spot with our full sized Jeep. A very large vehicle might find it tight. Room 1 is on Atterdag Rd., so privacy-conscious guests might prefer another room. Rooms 3 and 4 open onto the parking lot.

We booked two rooms while passing through charming Solvang, and wished we could've stayed longer. They were huge, clean, and had all the amenities we needed. Great location, and they even offered free danishes and coffee at Olsen's Bakery. Better than expected!

Check-in and checkout were contact free and easy, and there was free parking on site to the west of the building. We stayed in Room 6 a few months ago and would consider returning. The price was fair, the room was clean and had what we needed, and the location made it easy to walk to bakeries, wine tasting rooms, and restaurants. It did seem noisy, and the bathroom layout wasn't very practical, though it worked. A decent stay.

We love our room here and highly recommend staying at this place. It's become our favorite lodging in Solvang, with a great spot for walking around the village. There's no on site office, but someone has been available whenever we've needed anything.
