Bedford Inn

The owners are rude, and the room was disgusting. There were cigarette burns and stains all over the carpet and walls. They charge a pet fee, but looking at the state of the place, I have to wonder how they'd tell dog poop from the hotel's own mess. They’re supposed to offer breakfast, but apparently only do when the walking horse shows are in town.

For $87.50 a night, we got a room barely bigger than my bathroom at home, with two twin beds and almost no space to walk. The bathroom was so filthy it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a year. This place is a dive. I'd run from it. Who knows how many shots you'd need to avoid whatever infections you'd most certainly get here.

I didn't even stay. The room was so nasty I left, and they wouldn't refund my money. There was no shampoo or soap, and the motel looks old with no remodeling or money put into it. Charging over $100 for a room like that is horrible. It isn't fit for animals, and I wouldn't advise anyone to come here.

My week already cost $245, but they charged another $10 per day for each child, including my two-year-old and seven-month-old baby. They refuse to clean, and you have to leave towels outside on the AC unit. If it's late at night, they'll refuse a clean towel even when you work third shift. Blankets get washed once a week. You're not allowed to talk to other people who live or stay here. A man died in one of the rooms and wasn't found for a week. The wife is rude, disrespectful, and hateful; the husband is usually respectful and helpful. I don't see how this place gets two stars. I'd give it none.
