Comfort Suites Shenandoah-The Woodlands

Check-in was easy and the staff were very nice. The room was spacious and had what we needed, including a microwave, fridge, coffee, and a desk. There are two restaurants within walking distance, and it’s close to MD Anderson in The Woodlands. We’ll be back.

On 11/26, the first night we arrived, the front desk attendant gave us everything we needed. But when I asked the assistant working the next night, 11/27, for a few face towels, she said, “We are fully booked and do not have any towels.” I knew that couldn’t be right, since towels are an essential hotel need. I went back to my room and got them from a room service worker instead. Our room, number 311, also had two big holes in the bathroom door. I won’t stay here again. They don’t seem to take pride in the place and just want the money.

We left at 11:40 on 9/21/25 after being disturbed twice before checkout. Check-out was supposed to be at 12, but someone checked on us at 11:00 and came again at 11:30 to ask if we were staying another night. It felt like they were rushing us out. The walls were so thin we could hear people and their TVs on both sides, and there was no do not disturb card in the room. Parking and the entrance were hard to manage because the hotel is behind a restaurant. When I handed the keys to the same man who knocked the second time, I tried to tell him about the missing card and dirty bathroom. He was on his personal phone and didn’t look at or respond to me until he was done with it. It felt like his phone mattered more than showing me basic respect. Hospitality, cleanliness, respect, and accessibility clearly aren’t priorities here.

Jessica and Dom at the front desk were wonderful and helped me a lot with check-in. Their service went well beyond what I expected. They were superb.
