EVEN Hotel Shenandoah - The Woodlands by IHG

The shower was great, and my room had a workout ball and ropes. The bed was very comfortable, the pillows were awesome, and the AC worked well. Sometimes the hotel temperature settings limited how far you could adjust it, but the fan stayed on all night when I ran it. I'd stay again. The welcome area could use some attention. Catherine didn't ask if everything was okay or say anything, even though I had nice things to tell her about my room. She seemed dreary. Also, the trash bags need to be pushed down into the cans, otherwise anything tossed in just comes back out.

I only came here to drop off a DoorDash order, but the hotel seemed like somewhere I'd enjoy staying. The downstairs women's restroom was clean and nice, and the colors downstairs looked good. The front door was already open, so the delivery was easy, and an employee was working the night shift to keep it open. I also like the idea of having only even-numbered rooms. The vending machine may have had refrigerated food, though I'm not completely sure, and breakfast and perhaps other meals looked like they could be good. I'd consider staying here if I needed a place, and might plan a visit soon.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and it's in a quiet location. My first visit was wonderful, so I came back, but the second stay wasn't as good. There was a lot of short white cat or dog hair on the blanket and across the carpet. I'm not sure if they vacuumed or just swept. I was out all day and still had to clean it myself, which was tiring. I'm not sure I'll return.

It's clean and in a quiet spot, but we had to ask several times for washcloths because none were clean at check-in. We finally went downstairs the next morning to get them. The shower dispenser also had no soap.
