The room was fresh, clean, and nicely updated, with a comfortable mattress and a roomy, clean shower that even had a foot rest. The blackout curtains ran in tracks and kept it dark enough to sleep as long as we wanted. I wish I could give this stay 4.5 stars. For the price, it was comfortable and a great stay. We left the Do Not Disturb sign up for all six days, so I can't comment on housekeeping. We kept things tidy ourselves and took out our own trash when it piled up a bit. Breakfast was okay, nothing special but perfectly serviceable. The morning staff were very friendly, greeting us and asking if we needed anything. The scones instead of muffins were a nice surprise. The main drawbacks were the barn door on the bathroom, which let too much humidity, noise, smells, and light through for much privacy, and the road noise from the very loud freeway and service road. I wish hotel designers would account for both. The AC cooled the room, but its motion sensors made it hard to keep the temperature steady, so we kept turning it up and down. Part of the casing was broken and rattled badly. We tucked folded paper into the unit to quiet it.

The rooms were great and new, and the staff were kind and helpful. AC worked well, and there was enough room to park my pickup and 20-foot trailer. It's close to shops and hospitals, and surprisingly quiet for a hotel next to the interstate. Good value. Getting anywhere means taking frontage roads, which can add miles instead of just a couple of minutes. There are no sidewalks, so walking around is difficult except in the shopping area right next door. That's my only complaint.

We stayed one night and had a really good experience. The room was clean, as were the other parts of the property we used, and we enjoyed the breakfast. We'd definitely stay here again if we return to the area.

The continental breakfast was good, and housekeeping held onto some belongings I forgot. The location, though, is poor: there's a lot of traffic, and the one-way I-45 road goes on for miles. The service was the worst I've experienced at a hotel. This is a new Hampton/Hilton, but I was moved to three rooms. I have points and wasn't given any water. Other guests were complaining too, and they wouldn't clean my room when I asked. They also didn't apply the points I earned until 12 days later. Poor rating.

The decor is beautiful and the hotel seems well maintained. My check-in was easy and enjoyable thanks to the helpful staff. The problem was how unbelievably loud people were in the lobby late at night while other guests were trying to check in or rest.
