Shenandoah Inn & Suites

The hotel and town both felt really cozy. If you’re in the area, make time for the vintage shops. There’s one on the corner in particular that you’ll fall in love with. Breakfast was good, and the vending machines had a surprisingly good selection. The front desk staff were really nice, too. You get what you pay for, and I’d totally come back.

The rooms were great, and most of the employees were polite and respectful. The manager, Becky I believe, was very rude and made unnecessary snide remarks. She shouldn’t be working as a hotel manager. After I’d left, some mail arrived for me by accident. I called about it and she said it had come in but that she’d sent it back because handling my mail wasn’t her responsibility. Those were checks for my 12 employees. I had to track down the package and pick it up 15 miles from Shenandoah. It’s an awesome place to stay, just stay away from Becky and you’ll be fine.

I was there for a business trip not long ago, and as someone who travels a lot, I appreciated the clean room, good amenities, and convenient location. The shower was a great bonus, too. This hidden gem checked all my boxes, and I’d recommend it to anyone.

The all-day hot cocoa machine in the lobby was a real treat. It had hot cocoa, French vanilla, and white chocolate caramel. Yum! The rooms were roomy and extremely clean, the staff were friendly and efficient, and the hotel sits in a quaint little downtown area. Fantastic place.
