Garden Inn & Extended Stay Shepherdsville / Louisville

I’ve been here since Memorial Day and haven’t had a single problem. It’s peaceful and quiet, almost beyond quiet, but not scary at all. The staff are amazing and everything is clean. I’m not sure what the other reviews are about. I’d recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat.

The rates stay cheap all year, and there are lots of places to eat close by. Google Maps showed 10 food spots nearby. The rooms are clean and kept up, and the people working here are kind. It’s quiet and peaceful, too.

We drove from illinois on April 14th 2025 and left the morning of the 17th. My husband, son, and I shared one room, and my 86 year old dad stayed next door. His room cost $650, besides what we paid for ours. We couldn’t get into either room because the door battery was dead. We asked for clean towels and never got them, and there was no toilet tissue. I had to work out how to keep the tub water from draining because there was no stopper. The sheets were gross, the bed was very hard, and we slept on top of the covers. I’m including pictures of the fridge and pictures from my dad’s room. This is not acceptable at all, and I’m requesting half the deposit back. This hotel needs to be shut down.

For a long term stay, this place was affordable and close to everything Shepherdsville has to offer, even though it’s tucked away. My room was amazing, and the staff were personable and nice. I had nothing but a great experience.
