The Western “room” turned out to be a whole apartment, and everything was so clean. The sheets felt soft, the beds were comfortable, and the owner was friendly whenever we needed something. It's easy to walk to all of downtown Sheridan. The walls are thin, as other reviews mention, but earplugs made that a non-issue for sleeping. I've been to Sheridan three times now, and I'd definitely stay here again.

At 11 pm, this felt more like a fraternity house than a boutique hotel. There was a huge party next door, but no staff on site, and nobody answered our calls or emails. I wouldn't want to stay here with my wife and daughter. There was hair all over the bed, a missing bulb in the bedside lamp and tampered smoke detectors. I'm really disappointed we chose this place. The room is cute and mostly clean otherwise, but the walls seem paper thin.

We had a great time in Sheridan, and the central location of the Nelson Inn made it easy to explore downtown. We stayed in upstairs suite 'B' in the Heritage building. It feels like a home and works well for two couples, with a very large living room, full kitchen and dining area, two nice bedrooms and one bathroom. The main thing I'd improve is the cleaning. It's an older building and could use a deep clean on the floors, baseboards, windows and sills, as well as more thorough cleaning between guests. Some personal things had been left on the closet's higher shelves, and there were crumbs around.

Our stay at The Nelson Inn and in Sheridan was excellent, and I'd absolutely come back. The property has several buildings; we were in the 4 top, a spacious two-bedroom, two-bath apartment with a full kitchen. It was exceptionally clean and stocked very well for our stay. The room's interior was amazing, and the huge TV was great for unwinding with a streaming service. We also visited local businesses Frackeltons and Andi's Coffee House.

Bonnie was extremely friendly and helpful, and the Four top 102 was beautiful. It had two bedrooms with attached bathrooms, an adorable kitchen, air conditioning, and was very clean. It was so much nicer than the other hotels we've stayed at on this vacation. We were on a tight schedule and sad we couldn't add another night. I hope my family gets to stay at the Nelson Inn again sometime.
