After our home was badly flooded, my boyfriend and I couldn't afford to repair everything, so we stayed at the Sherman Inn while we saved up and got started again. Denise, the manager, Kevin, head of maintenance, and the rest of the staff were amazing. The rooms were clean and took a lot of the stress out of our stay. I'm grateful to them and would recommend the place to anyone.

After a long day, the shower had plenty of hot water and a decent spray, and the pillows were comfortable. The TV was nice too. I only stayed one night on my drive home from a cruise. The man at check-in was friendly and gave me a second-floor room when I asked, though the card reader took several tries before the door opened. The weather stripping needs replacing, and the bed sank on the left. I slept in the middle since the lamp on the right was burned out. Fine for one night, but I wouldn't choose it for a longer stay.

The room felt too large and empty, so even with my partner there, it felt lonely. Some people had written on things, and the rooms need work. The price was okay, but I’d only suggest staying one night, or longer if you really need to.

My mother and grandson stayed here on Saturday, and she said the place was really nasty. They couldn't get towels or use the TV, and the door looked as if someone had tried to break in more than once. Don't waste your money. Spend a few more dollars for somewhere clean and safe.

-5 stars. I've stayed in hotels all over the country, and this is the worst one I've ever been to. The room they called upgraded, for $20 more, was the worst I've ever had: no hot water, bugs, and dope. It didn't feel safe for women. This place is a dump, and it seems to have had a third owner or at least a third name in one year. -5 stars.
