Best Western Sherwood Inn & Suites

There’s no elevator, which matters if stairs are an issue. The hotel has two stories. It’s older, but it’s been refurbished nicely, and the staff were excellent. Breakfast was decent. I’d stay again.

The nightly price was great, and check-in was quick and easy. The gentleman at the front desk was polite. Our room was clean, spacious, and had comfortable beds and a nice TV. I’d likely book here again. There were a few issues: the bathroom floor tiles shifted because they weren’t secured to the subfloor, and one of the main door locks was missing. There was also an odd smell through the main hotel area, though it wasn’t as noticeable in the rooms.

Breakfast was great, and the Wi-Fi worked well. I had a clean room and a comfy bed for an overnight stop while traveling. Rana was welcoming at check-in and quickly got maintenance to help with a small issue, the smoke alarm needed new batteries. The maintenance person was really nice and took care of it right away. I’d come back.

The people at the front desk were the best part. The rooms were decent, but the place felt outdated and wasn’t very clean. The pool had loads of dead mosquitoes floating on top of the water. Eww. Breakfast sucked, and the gym wasn’t cooperating either. It’s in the middle of nowhere, and the whole experience felt pretty bleh.
