The bistro's menu is limited, but being able to get breakfast and dinner there, along with Starbucks, was convenient enough that I didn't mind staying in. The staff were all very polite. I usually prefer Marriott and often find Courtyard overpriced for what you get, but this one changed my mind. My spacious king suite was clean, well maintained, and looked out toward the mountains. There's also an indoor heated pool and whirlpool. I needed to be 45 minutes away, but this was the closest Marriott, right off the interstate at the university. I'd definitely stay here again.

The bartender was a bright spot, very nice and polite. We were there April 24-25 and things seemed fine at first, but walking barefoot around the bed and chair, we crunched on potato chips and crumbs. After we came back from a show, there was no hot water for a shower, and the water was brown. Luckily we'd brought our own water to brush our teeth. We like camping, so it wasn't all bad.

The woman who served us breakfast at the bistro was so sweet. I think her name was Samaya, and the rest of the staff were pleasant from check-in through checkout. I stayed overnight while bringing my daughter back to school after winter break. The hotel is pretty much right on campus, and I'll stay again when I need to.

The room was in order, clean, and smelled fresh. Check-in was very quick, and the receptionist was helpful. Everyone made for a friendly atmosphere, and the college campus is right next door.

The restaurant and bar were good, and the people there were so welcoming. I'd lived in Shippensburg some time ago and wanted to stay somewhere I could look around, so we picked this hotel on a whim. The rooms and the rest of the place were neat and clean. We've returned a few times since that first stay and have always been happy with it.
