Best Western Paint Pony Lodge

We had to spend the night in Showlow because of an unexpected illness in the family. We checked in a little after 9 on 7/23, and the woman at the desk was so attentive and helpful. The room was quiet, spacious, and clean, and breakfast the next morning had lots of choices and was good. It cost more than other places nearby, but the service made that extra bit worthwhile. I’d absolutely stay here again.

The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the room was spacious and bright once the different lights were on. There were useful outlets right by the bed and at the desk. It was clean, quiet, and convenient, and both the afternoon/evening desk person and the morning staff member were genuinely friendly.

The staff were so nice, and the accessible room worked really well for my mom and me. The handicap parking spot was right outside our room, which was ideal. It was comfortable, and there’s a good mexican restaurant next door. There’s no pool, but the front desk gave us passes for the nearby aquatic center. I do wish there were a courtyard or some outdoor seating with trees. Still, a great place.

We spent three nights at the Best Western over the 4th of July weekend, coming up to Show Low to enjoy the holiday. I couldn’t get over how well kept the hotel was, and our room was one of the cleanest I’ve ever stayed in. Audra and the rest of the staff were really nice. They made it a stay we’ll remember. I’d give Best Western 10 stars if I could!
