We won’t be coming back. The room had just one coffee for three people, and breakfast was sparse and very sugary: corn flakes were the only cereal, there was no fruit, and the six boiled eggs were cold and rubbery. The hotel itself was in disrepair and filthy. The back entrance was dirty inside and out, the hall floors badly needed mopping, and the stairwell was very dirty. There was trash all over outside, especially by the parking lots. We picked up a whole garbage bag of it from the beautiful woods alongside the lot. The back door was broken and didn’t feel secure.

Just disgusting. The place smelled bad, there was hair in my shower, and I even saw a pee ring in the bathroom closest to the pool. The pool and hot tub smelled bad too, and the hallway floors looked like they hadn’t been mopped in months. The whole hotel was filthy.

The manager was awful. At 5:30 in the morning, he woke us by ranting at a guest in the dining area on another floor. Later, my young granddaughter came to visit and we went to the pool. A few minutes after we got there, the manager came to the pool door and posted a notice. We were the only people there and weren’t making a disturbance, so it felt malicious. When we left shortly afterward, there was only one other car in the parking lot.

It’s inexpensive compared to other places, and the people running it were nice enough. The breakfast was better than most, though still not great, and I wish they had fresh fruit. The room works for sleeping and showering, and keeps the bugs out, but it needs repairs.

Bring your own pillows. The ones there were stuffed with cheap cotton and hard to sleep on. The checkout lady was lovely, though, and the room was decently quiet with a hot shower, cold AC, and a reasonably comfortable bed. It’s an older place, but decent for the price.
