Lone Tree Inn

A hidden gem for what I needed. I stayed three days with my dog, and we weren't looking for Four Seasons accommodations, so this was just right. It's owned by the Best Western next door, and they had a fabulous breakfast buffet for only $10. I'll be back.

The room was very clean and did the job. The bathtub faucet was odd, and the water never got very hot. Having to check in next door at the Best Western felt a little strange. Still, the price is unbeatable, and it's easy to get in and out of the location.

It was quiet, clean, and they handled my late arrival. You get what you pay for, though. This is a lower-quality sister hotel to the Best Western across the parking lot. I checked in there, then walked over to the Lone Tree. The lobby had nothing in it, with juice and coffee machines sitting empty around the clock. In my room there was a coffee maker, two single-serve decaf pods, and one paper cup. The bottom sheet had, ahem, stains, but luckily I'd brought Microban spray. Towels, shampoo, and conditioner were enough for the first of my four nights. When I asked, staff politely gave me various toiletries. The price was great, and you get what you pay for.

The front desk is often empty, so you have to go next door whenever you need help. The people at Best Western were rude, and the service here was awful. I wouldn’t stay for more than a week, or really stay here at all.
