Motel 6 Sidney, NE

Everything here was great. This is by far the cleanest, best-kept motel I've stayed in, and I highly recommend it over anywhere else in Sidney.

I've been stopping here for years when I travel. It used to be the cleanest Motel 6 I'd stayed at, and it recently changed to a Super 8. Thankfully my pup still stays free. The desk lady said the first pet is always free at this location. I love their breakfast to go, it saves us a stop and lets us get back on the road. See ya next time!

The mattress was too soft for me, even though the firm-but-soft pillows were nice, but I slept great and it was quiet the whole time. The hotel looked and smelled newly renovated, and my room was nice. Everything seemed new. There's even a tub mat because it gets sudsy. The water pressure was strong and the water got hot. Check-in was quick. I was out of drive time and got there at 10, and the woman was supportive and let me check in early instead of making me wait for regular time. There was hot tea and coffee, plus a flaky heart-shaped cookie if I wanted one. No hair dryer, but the microwave works really fast, so don't set it for five minutes when two will do. I liked it. The ice machine makes shaved ice, which you don't often see at hotels. Breakfast is snacks, but McDonald's, Scooters, and other places are nearby. They even help with a coupon. I'd definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.

We had a nice stay. The room was clean and tidy, the staff were kind and helpful, and breakfast was good.
