Wingate by Wyndham Sidney

The on-site staff were friendly and tried to help, but this was still a frustrating, disappointing stay. We’d hoped for a relaxing night after camping at Glacier National Park, with a hot shower and time in the pool and hot tub. The pool and hot tub were actually in the hotel next door. We were allowed to use them, but walking over in swimwear wasn’t what we expected when booking. Back in our room, the faucet diverter was broken, leaving only scalding hot water with no way to adjust it. Maintenance came quickly and was kind, but couldn’t fix it that night. The front desk said there were no clean rooms available for us to shower in, so we had to use the public shower near the whirlpool. That was unacceptable for a paying guest. I contacted management after we got home and appreciated being offered a free room as compensation. But the local GM asked me to email him personally to get the voucher, then stopped responding. I’ve followed up several times and been ignored. Between the unexpected amenity setup, broken shower, and management’s lack of follow-through, I can’t recommend the Wingate by Wyndham in Sidney, MT.
