The front desk staff were polite, and the location was convenient for our four-night stay. Housekeeping was a major disappointment, though. The housekeeper was rude, gossiped about guests, including me, and didn't clean the room properly. The curtains were in poor shape, and the bathtub leaked and hadn't been maintained well. With better upkeep and more professional service, the stay could have been much better.

I can't remember many service experiences this bad, even by the very low standards I have for this part of the state. Do not come here. 0/10.

The smell outside was awful, like chicken poo, and I couldn't even step out for five minutes to clean the car. Maybe there's some kind of processing factory nearby. In room 124 at the end of the corridor, the toilet was wobbly and the seat came off, which felt hazardous. The room itself was average in size. Staff were really helpful: the young woman at reception was friendly and composed, and the breakfast attendant kept the food well stocked, even if she seemed stoic. The breakfast selection was good for a hotel at this level. Without the smell and bathroom problems, I'd have rated it 4/5.

The staff made us feel welcome, and the rooms were clean and well kept. Breakfast was decent, and we ended up having a really good stay. I was pleasantly surprised and would highly recommend it.
