Holiday Inn Express and Suites Sioux City - Southe

We booked three rooms, and the grandkids loved the place. Check-in staff were really nice and helpful, too.

I left a really nice pair of earrings on the bathroom sink at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sioux City - Southern Hills. When I called, they said they hadn’t seen them. I’d only taken them off to sleep, and I wouldn’t have packed them away, so they’re not in my ears or my things. It was my mistake to leave them, but I wish people were more honest.

The only drawback was somewhat low water pressure, but it was still enough for me to give the place five stars. I called late and got a room right away. Greg at the front desk was quick, professional, courteous, and knew what he was doing. My room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the A/C worked. No odd smells, and aside from hearing doors close, it stayed quiet all night. I paid $133.28 with the IGH rate. The person at checkout was friendly, professional, and fast. I’d recommend staying here and plan to come back.

Finding the parking lot from the interstate was a little tricky, though Google Maps got us there. Once we arrived, everything was neat and clean, without anything broken down or gross, which is unusual for a hotel I’ve stayed at lately. The front desk staff were professional and courteous. Breakfast was good, and I loved that the bean-to-brew coffee was available 24 hours.
