Super 8 Motel

The location is the only good part. The room was horrible, and if that was a queen bed, it was a small one, lol. I got up at 6 for breakfast, and by 6:10 they were out of juice and milk. The attendant looked like he'd just gotten out of bed. Not worth $72. Maybe $42.

This place is trash. They respond slowly, go into your room while you're away, and the breakfast was a joke. The beds were uncomfortable, it was dingy and needs a makeover, and it was very noisy. The Wi-Fi is garbage. Sleeping in your car would be better.

Super 8 by Wyndham Sioux City, IA (near Morningside) DO NOT STAY HERE! The room never really warmed up, since the heater only kicked on now and then. We went down early hoping to check out, but breakfast was just waffles, coffee, water, and two pieces of bread for the whole hotel. At 9 a.m., our card stopped opening the hotel door while we were checking out. At first I thought the place was just outdated, but it kept getting worse. The pillows were tiny, lumpy, and there were only two per bed. More were available, but they looked the same, so we bought pillows at Target. The strong Pinesol smell gave me a migraine, so we had to open a window. The sheets looked like someone had changed their oil with them. We had two dingy bath towels, no bath mat, hand towels, or washcloths. Only two TV channels came in, neither local, just some science channels, and the Wi-Fi was too poor to use our streaming accounts. There was one nightstand, two lamps, a desk chair, and a footstool, and everything had seen better days. Nothing looked like the website photos. I complained to Wyndham management. They passed it along to local management, who said they were “sorry” I was “disappointed.” I'm shouting this review from the rooftops so nobody else makes the same mistake.

The bathroom was disgusting and moldy. There was blood on the curtains, a hole in the wall, and the room was very dusty. They stole our Venmo card and tried to gamble $50 with it. Definitely don't come here, it's not worth it.
