Sister Bay Inn

The grounds are lovely, the location is ideal, and we really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The room was very clean, and the owners were so accommodating that it made up for how small it was. I was upset about the size because I thought I’d booked a room with two beds. I came to Door County for a wedding but couldn’t get a room or cabin at the wedding venue. The hotel there recommended Sister Bay. I didn’t realize I was booking through Bookings.com. I’d recommend this inn, but book directly.

The people here were exceptionally nice, and we enjoyed our stay. It rained, so we didn’t really get to use the pool or hot tub. The rooms were very clean. I’d recommend staying here and will come back when we return.

The building doesn’t look like much from the street, but the staff are kind and the rooms are super clean. There’s a pool, hot tub, and fire pit, plus lots of yard space at the back for kids to run around. Downtown is a 0.4 mile walk. We’d definitely stay again.

For our second visit to Sister Bay Inn, we stayed in the cottage, and it was just right: clean, cozy, and well stocked. It’s close enough to town to walk, while the field and trees around it make things feel peaceful. The owners were friendly both times. You can see the work, dedication, and passion they put into running the business, and they’ve made a lovely experience for their guests.
