The place looked clean and cared for, and the staff I met were welcoming. I didn’t stay the night, but being right in downtown Sitka would make this a handy base for shops, restaurants, and attractions.

Ryan, the general manager, kept going out of his way to help. The rest of the staff were friendly, knew the area, and seemed glad to assist. The hotel was clean and accommodating, with dining, shopping, sightseeing, and tour connections close by. We had a wonderful experience.

There are several entrance doors, so it’s easy to get in from different directions depending on where you park or walk from. The rooms were clean and nicely equipped, with a mini kitchen, dishes, plates, a stovetop, and a full-size fridge. Just be aware that room service happens weekly, so if you’re only there a few days, your room won’t be cleaned during the stay.

We had plenty of room for two adults and two kids, and the kitchen made it easier to get out and explore in the morning. We stayed about a week and had everything we needed. The staff were excellent, especially the helpful, knowledgeable person at the desk, Ricky, though I’m not sure I have the spelling right. Thanks for a great stay.

There’s an airport shuttle, which was a nice bonus. We stayed two nights and were happy with it: the room had pretty much everything we could need, and the staff were friendly. It’s a fairly quiet part of town, but most shops and restaurants are still an easy walk away. Very clean, too.
