La Quinta Inn And Suites Lancaster

We’re here every couple of years, and it’s always clean with a helpful staff. During our visit, a soccer event brought tons of kids, so the breakfast crew was working hard to get the food out. They never looked cross, just busy. I even went into the kitchen to thank them. Our reservation got mixed up since we were meant to stay several days, but guest relations did a great job sorting it out even though the hotel was completely full.

The room, pool area, and hotel were very clean, and the staff were polite and welcoming. My husband, young son, and I stayed two nights while visiting local attractions. A large group in the rooms next to us and across the hall talked loudly and slammed doors all night on the first night. My husband asked them to quiet down, but it didn’t help much. The hotel wasn’t at fault, and when I asked the next morning, Naomi at the front desk understood and moved us to a different floor. We slept much better the second night. We enjoyed the breakfast and pool both days, and we’re always happy at a LaQuinta!

The location is excellent, right among well-known places worth seeing in Amish country, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast tasted good, though I’d have liked more hot choices. Our second-floor room had comfortable beds and was clean, but I think the furniture and fixtures need updating. The lobby furnishings could use the same attention, since a makeover would make it feel livelier and more appealing. I’d come back at a reasonable discounted rate, but not at the regular room price.

The lobby was dressed up so nicely for fall, and the desk clerk said they hire someone to decorate it. I was impressed. Even with a busload of people leaving around the same time we did, the breakfast attendant kept up with everyone. Our room was clean and pleasant, the bed was comfy, and I liked the roomy bathroom counter and walk-in shower. The staff were kind and helpful. Thanks for a really nice stay.
