Snowmass Viceroy 1 Bed Den

The resort fee is $55 a night plus tax, and overnight parking is $50, so if you’re driving, budget $105 a night. When I asked about the resort fee compared with the amenities, the front desk said the pool was open and we could eat at the bar. That didn’t feel worth the fee. In season, though, I can see the amenities being worthwhile if you ski. We came at an off-peak time, so lots of things were closed or limited. Toro, the main restaurant, closes on certain days, leaving the bar as the on-property dining option. Its menu was very limited, to the point that room service had more choices. A Caesar salad, chicken wings, and two drinks came to around $160. Ouch, though that’s Snowmass. The room, views, location, staff, and service were amazing, and Viceroy snowmass didn’t disappoint. Shout-out to Leo and Vlad in the lounge and Trish at breakfast, all three gave wonderful service!

We came to see the fall colors, and the views from beside the pool were stunning. After a day exploring, the three hot pools were a lovely way to unwind. Room service was prompt and attentive, and breakfast at the on-site restaurant was delicious. Our little one especially enjoyed it. From arrival to departure, our family had a wonderful stay. Valet parking was seamless, and the staff were exceptional. The front desk greeted us warmly, explained the amenities, and offered early check-in and a complimentary room upgrade. Our spotless, comfortable room had two queen beds, a sofa bed, and breathtaking mountain views. They also provided a crib for our baby at no extra charge, which we really appreciated. We’d happily recommend the hotel and hope to return.

I wish we’d stayed longer. The hotel had some of the best mountain views I’ve ever seen, from both the bedroom and the living room in our upgraded one-bedroom residence. Waking up to that scenery was unforgettable, and the room felt calm and cozy. Everyone was friendly. Karl from Bali was especially kind and helpful. I also liked the in-room dining, which I believe was available until around 2:30 AM. Breakfast at Toro could use some improvement, though. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

The location was fantastic, within walking distance of Snowmass Base Camp. We had a beautiful one-bedroom suite with a small living area and kitchenette. Breakfast was included and delicious, try the French Toast! The hot tubs were large enough for lots of people.
