St. Theresa's Lakeside Resort

There’s lots of land to explore and a beautiful lake on the property. The cabin was cozy, clean, and had plenty of room. The owners were so kind. Amazing place to stay, highly recommend.

Steve and Mary are exceptional, with the kind of Alaska hospitality you’d hope for. Steve knows the local rivers and people, and even a rookie like me could get the hang of fishing with his help. The cabins have a rustic, cozy feel. The twin beds aren’t the softest, but they do the job. We loved it and will definitely be back.

We used the resort as a home base for day trips to Homer and Seward around the Kenai Pennisula, and I’d definitely stay here again. The cabin was rustic but clean, with a little kitchen, wifi, and directv. The lake setting was lovely and quiet. We’d been left without a room after another resort overbooked, so we called Mary and Steve. Luckily, they had a cabin available and got it ready in under an hour. They made us feel like family right away and invited us to eat with them. Their Halibut Fish Tacos were the best we’ve ever had. Loved the place and the owners.

The accommodations were clean, warm, and well kept, right by a beautiful lake. The owners were friendly and very welcoming, and they’re great cooks too. They also told us about a local river spot where Reds are popular. Great place. I’d go back someday.
