The room was very clean, with a beautiful view of the Kenai river. For the quality and that view, the prices felt too cheap.

We liked the cozy, home-away-from-home feel, and the rooms are pet friendly. It's a nice little place off the main road. The beds aren't fixed to the wall, so you can push them together if you want more space. It wasn't something we needed with just the two of us and the dogs, but I noticed because that setup at chain hotels is a pet peeve of mine. There was some noise from the upper floors of the main house echoing into the pet rooms. Putting on the TV or using the standing fan they provide helped keep it from being too distracting. We'd definitely come back if we travel with the dogs again.
