Solomons Victorian Inn

We stayed in the Sunset room with its jacuzzi tub on the first weekend of May. The room was spacious, the beds comfortable, and being able to set the temperature ourselves was nice. Everything matched the website and other reviews. Each day there were baked goods waiting for us, and the three-course breakfasts were delicious. The innkeepers were very accommodating about dietary needs. Everything on Solomon’s Island was within walking distance. Highly recommend.

The water views made it even easier to relax at this lovely historic inn. New owners Maureen “Moe” and Chris were friendly and helpful, and our room was clean and cozy. We appreciated that they accommodated us as vegetarians. Breakfasts were tasty, and there were thoughtful extras like home-baked afternoon cookies, filtered water in the mini-fridge, and throw blankets.

The breakfasts were especially wonderful, and the treats were lovely too. Steve and Shawn are great hosts. The room worked well for both relaxing and sleeping. Everything about this bed and breakfast was perfect, and I’d highly recommend Solomon’s Victorian Inn.

We were in town for a couple of family celebrations and had a very nice weekend. Steve and Shawn were wonderful hosts who made us feel welcome and comfortable. The bedroom and bath had a great layout, with well-designed space, which can be hard to find in an older Victorian home. The home-cooked breakfasts were amazing, with plenty of hot coffee to start the day. There were cookies in the afternoon and treats available throughout the day and night. We highly recommend the Inn and will definitely return when we visit family.
